Members of the SHA are currently working on trying to collate information from the archives in Southampton Council regarding the history of the taxi trade in the City going right back to the days of The Watch Committee that were in charge of the Hanson Cabs in the late 1800's.

Have you any information that might help us? Perhaps you are a member of a local history society with photos and information we could take a look at?
